At the event, participants received plates in a bisque-fired state and painted on them using lead-free underglaze paint. This allowed them to customize the plate however they desired. It was a great opportunity to meet future artists and witness everyone's own perspective on designing plates. The participants receive their final piece with clear glaze fired.
